Do You Work From Home?
As a mom, I know the feeling.
Working from home can be a great thing. You can have more flexibility in your schedule and spend more time with your family. You can also take care of your kids while you work, so it's not like you're leaving them alone all day.
But working from home is also stressful as a mom. It's easy to feel like you're not getting enough done when your little ones are always around, asking for snacks and attention. And it's hard to make yourself take breaks when there are so many things to do! Below are some working mom tips I use as I too work from home!
Finding the Right Balance
There are many challenges to working from home as a mom, but there are also many benefits. You can create your own schedule and work hours, which is great for people who want to stay home with their kids or want flexibility in their jobs.
However, it's important to find the right balance between being productive at work and spending time with your family. It's also important to make sure that you're taking care of yourself--if you don't take breaks from the computer screen every now and then, it can lead to burnout!
Organization and Time Management
When you work from home, it's easy to get distracted by your kids. But if you want to be successful, it's important to create a daily routine and stick with it. You should also prioritize tasks and stay organized so that everything gets done on time.
Setting realistic deadlines is another key component of organization and time management--and one that many people struggle with when they first start working from home as a mom! If your child has an appointment at 1 p.m., don't expect yourself (or anyone else) to finish whatever task needs doing before then; instead, set aside some extra time beforehand so that everyone can relax after the appointment rather than stressing about getting back into work mode immediately afterward.

Making the Most of Working from Home
•Taking advantage of flexibility and freedom.
•Making the most of your time and energy.
•Finding ways to stay motivated
If you work from home, chances are your kids will be at home with you during breaks from school. Kids need to be entertained and kept busy to prevent them from getting bored. Here are some tips for WFHM on how to manage their kids during the day:
If your children want to play but you don’t have time for them, set up a dedicated playroom so that they can play in their own space without bothering you. Or let them pick out their own activities to have during the break! If it’s not practical to set up a playroom, make sure that your children have plenty of toys and books available to them.
If your children love arts and crafts projects, you can set them up with a crafting area! They will have plenty of fun working on projects while mommy gets some work done at the same time. Plus, kids love to draw and color!
If you are worried about your children getting bored, you can also set up a movie day! They can watch movies together while mommy gets some work done.
I love to meal prep when I know the kids will be home on their break. I will make enough food for three meals and freeze them in individual containers. This way, I can pull out one container at a time to thaw each night! This saves me time in the mornings when I am rushing around getting myself ready for work, but also gives my kids their favorite breakfast/lunch options without having to worry about making it from scratch.
When you're a mom who works from home, it's easy to feel like you're not doing enough. But it's important to remember that the flexibility and freedom that comes with working from home are also your biggest assets. If you can find ways to stay motivated and make the most of your time and energy, then you can thrive as a mom who works from home. With the right mindset and tools, it's possible!
